Peshawar: Peshawar is again in for dengue threat after a patient died yesterday due to a dengue fever in Lady Reading Hospital.
Naik Nazir, a resident of Lower Dir, Was admitted in the hospital last year. National Institute of Health had confirmed he was suffering from dengue fever.
A separate isolation ward has been set up in the Lady Reading Hospital where patients are provided with bed nets. Hospital’s wards are also being fumigated.
International Health Organisation has directed to prepare a comprehensive plan to fight dengue in the province.
