Peshawar: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhawa government on Friday once again opposed the decision of two holidays in a week.
This was stated in a meeting of committee established to review the matter of energy crisis held in Peshawar on Friday.
Senior Provincial Minister Rahimdad chaired the meeting while Senior Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour, Law Minister Arshad Abdullah, Irrigation Minister Wazir Ahmad and representatives of industrialists and traders attended the meeting.
The participants of the meeting once again opposed the decision of two holidays in a week and early closure of markets. The meeting also rejected the formula of equal loadshedding in the provinces. The recommendations of the meeting would be forwarded to the federal government.
It was also decided in the meeting that all the government offices would remain opened on Saturday.
