Kolkata: Kolkata Knight Riders are on their way to path of success in the India Premier League (IPL) as they defeated Rjasthan Royals in the 15th match of the tournament played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, a metropolitan of India.
Although the target of 132 runs set by Rajasthan was a low total but it took last over for Kolkata to chase the target and score 137 runs. Kallis who scored 31 runs remained the top scorer in the innings accompanied by Bisla 29 and Tiwary 24.
The Rajasthan bowlers bowled well and tried to stop Kolkata in achieving the target but failed in their efforts. Botha, Amit Singh, Brad Hogg, Ashok Menaria were the four bowlers from Rajasthan side who shared one wicket each.
Earlier Rajasthan set a target of 131 runs in 20 overs for the loss of five wickets.
