Dushanbe: Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday demanded United States (US) to stop drone attacks in Pakistan and said that the attacks are violation of the Pakistan’s territory.
During his Meeting with the special envoy of US to Pakistan and Afghanistan Marc Grossman at Dushanbe, Zardari said that US drone attacks were violating Pakistani territory and instead of any profits the attacks were causing damages to the US interests in the country.
The president further told Grossman that the peace of Pakistan lies in the peace and prosperity of Afghanistan.
The US envoy told Zardari that Pak-US interests are mutual and both countries would continue to work together in war against terror.
