Islamabad: Mansoor Ijaz, central character in the memogate controversy is being cross-examined in Pakistan London High Commission by Hussain Haqqani’s lawyer Zahid Bukhari in Memo Commission hearing being simultaneously held in London and Islamabad.
Speaking to media before hearing Zahid Bukhari claimed he would be successful in proving that Ijaz was an enemy of Pakistan.
He added that he was appearing before the commission to prove that Haqqani was not a liar. The counsel for the former ambassador further said that it was not a big deal for the Blackberry sim to be lost, and Ijaz was formulating a conspiracy which is why he was so careful with his sim.
During the cross examination Mansoor Ijaz told that he was not an enemy of Pakistan, its people and nuclear program.
