Lahore: Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that he will follow the constitution and not take advice of anyone to write letter to Swiss officials.
Talking to media in Lahore on Sunday, the PM said that he had felt sorrow in Aslam Gill’s defeat in Senate election and added that Gill would be accommodated.
The prime minister said that Pakistan People’s Party had faced conspiracies in every era, adding that conspiracies had been hatched to delay Senate elections.
PM Gilani said President Asif Ali Zardari would make history by addressing the joint session of the Parliament as an elected president for the fifth time on March 17.
“President Zardari is the first democratically elected President who would achieve this unique distinction in the history of the country.” he added.
