Dhaka: Pakistan cricket has set 263 runs target against Bangladesh in opening cricket match of Asia Cup 2012.
Earlier, Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim won the toss and put Pakistan into bat first. Pakistan were managed to score 262 in 50 overs.
At 160 for one, Pakistan would have looked at 300 but their plans took a hit when Shahadat Hossain picked up those three wickets in quick time, and Shakib struck twice in the same over. Gul and Sarfraz, however, rescued Pakistan and they’ve ended the innings on a good note.
Bangladesh’s Shahadat Hossain took three while Shakib Al Hasan got two wickets.
Pakistan 262/8 (50.0 overs)
