Adelaide: Sri Lankan cricket team on Tuesday defeated Australia by eight wickets in second final of CB tri-series at Adelaide.
Sri lanka chased down the target of 272 with ease, courtesy fabulous performances from Dilshan (106), Jayawardene (80) and Kumar Sangakkara (51*). The best of three finals are level at 1-1 with the decider on Thursday, 8th March.
Earlier, Australia finished with a strong total of 271 after winning toss and choosing bat first on a slowish pitch, with Clarke and Warner scoring contrasting centuries, in second final of CB tri-series 2012 at Adelaide.
Third and decisive final match will be played on March 8.
