Lahore: Bangladesh Cricket Board Chairman Mustafa Kamal on Sunday expressed his satisfaction over the security situation in Pakistan and said that they will write a letter to International Cricket Council (ICC) to seek permission.
Talking to media at Qaddafi Stadium Lahore along with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Zaka Ashraf, Kamal said that no country had asked ICC to play in Pakistan.
“Pakistan has played an important role in the prosperity of cricket and always supported Bangladesh cricket in ICC,” Kamal added.
Kamal praised participation of Pakistani cricketers in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) and said that their cricketers had learnt a lot from Pakistani players.
On the occasion Zaka Ashraf said that they were hopeful that ICC would not create any hindrance in Bangladesh team visit to Pakistan.
Ashraf said that Pakistan was a safe county for cricket and people of Pakistan were desperately waiting for the revival of international cricket in the country.
