Badin: The unofficial result shows that PPP candidate and son of speaker National Assembly Fehmida Mirza and former home minister Sindh Zulfiqar Mirza won the bye-poll on a Sindh Assembly constituency PS 57 in Badin.
The PPP candidate, Hasnain Mirza bagged around 40,520 to be declared victorious.
Mirza and independent candidate Pappu Shah were in the run. Shah bagged 7,983 votes .
It is to be mentioned here that the seat was vacated by Zulfiqar Mirza after differences with PPP leadership in August last year.
