Karachi: As many as two vehicles were set ablaze as enraged people took to the Supreme Highway against the killing of a political activist on Friday.
According to police the protesters burnt tyres and suspending traffic and exchanged fire with police that left one man injured.
Heavy contingent of the Pakistan Rangers also rushed to the spot to cope with the situation .
Police said unknown assailants targeted a youth in Sohrab Goath near Al-Asif Square. He was shifted to a nearby hospital but the injuries proved fatal.
