Islamabad: A law society of the students of School of International Law (SIL), has been announced on the eve of the law school’s final mock trial tournament of the academic year of 2011-2012.
According to a press release, Neshmiya Adnan Khan will be the Law Society’s president while Sami-Uddin Khan Qureshi and Suleman A. Zeb have been announced as the vice president and secretary general, respectively. Other office bearers include Roqaiya Sana Abid, deputy secretary general, Eiman Hamdi, treasurer, Shayan Jaffri, Deputy Treasurer, Haya Sabir, Mistress of the Moots, Umer Saeed, secretary media and external communications and Fazl-i-Qadir Khan, secretary publications.
Barrister Masroor Shah, chief patron of SIL Law Society and Nida Tareen, Principal of SIL have congratulated the newly announced office-bearers of the law society and have asked them to continue arranging and participating in legal training and skill development activities to produce accomplished lawyers of the future.
School of International Law (SIL) is an Islamabad-based law school affiliated with the University of London and offering its international LLB and LLM degree programmes.
