Earlier, Aussies won the toss and elected to bat first in 7th ODI of the series and set 289 runs target against India to win the match.
Mike Hussey was a top scorer with 59 while Irfan Pathan took three wickets for 61 runs.
Replying to the total India were all-out for 178 runs.
