Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Aslam Raisani has harshly criticized US Congress resolution on Balochistan, saying it is a sheer violation of international laws and meddling in Pakistan’s internal matters.
In a statement the chief minister dubbed the resolution as ‘condemnable’ and urged the United States to bar its lawmakers and activists from passing such resolutions and activities against Pakistan.
Raisani demanded of the federal government to register strong protest with the US over the issue. “It is regrettable to see US congress indulging in a campaign against Pakistan,” he added.
He said that there was a people’s government in place in Balochistan and the US resolution was contempt of people’s mandate.
“Are the so-called champions of self-determination bothered about people of Palestine and Kashmir,”the chief minister added.
