Karachi: Pakistan under-19 squash player and world no. 5 Saad Shahid has left for Europe to play French open after receiving his passport and visa which was robbed in Karachi few days ago.
Talking to media at Karachi Airport on Thursday, Saad Shahid said that he was very happy to receive the passport and visa in just few hours and really thankful of Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik who fulfilled his promise.
He also thanked the ambassadors of the UAE and Europe to provide the visa at the earliest . He said that he would reach in France at 10:00 am and his match was scheduled at 12:00 pm.
On February 11, a group of thieves robbed his passport, visa, ATM card, important documents and around 20,000 when he was busy in shopping at a market Saddar in Karachi.
