Islamabad: The Attorney General of Pakistan (AGP) Maulvi Anwar-ul-Haq on Thursday submitted documentary evidence to Supreme Court in the contempt of court case against Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani.
The documentary evidence submitted by Attorney General includes SC orders in NRO case and NRO implementation case and NRO review petition. The statements of witnesses of complainants would be recorded in an open court on Feb 22.
Aitazaz Ahsan , counsel for Gillani, would submit documents, affidavits and list of witnesses to SC on Feb 27 while evidence would be recorded on Feb 28.
On Feb 13, the Supreme Court indicted Prime Minister in the contempt of court case and ordered attorney general to prosecute and gather evidences against prime minister.
