Sharjah: Afghanistan cricket team will play its first one-day international match against Pakistan on Friday at the Cricket Association Stadium, Sharjah.
All arrangements have been done for the ODI and people are waiting to see their favorite players in action.
Pakistan seemed to be really strong competitor but Afghanistan are hopeful to give tough time and create interest for the spectators.
Afghanistan qualified for the Twenty20 World Cup in the Caribbean two years later but failed to qualify in last year’s 50 overs World Cup in the Asian sub-continent.
Both the countries forced to play abroad because of security problems.
Afghanistan had played in the Pakistan domestic competition and against Pakistan A sides last year.
