Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday adjourned hearing of missing person case for indefinite period.
The bench sought comprehensive report of missing person commission and Baitul Mal report on compensation to families of missing persons.
The court decided that schedule of hearing for “grave cases” would be released on Thursday.
Later on, Amina Masood Janjua, a human right activist and whose own spouse is still missing, told the court that she wanted to submit sensitive information regarding the missing persons case in judges chamber.
The court ordered that the record be produced before the court after being seald.
