Karachi: The 10th Annual Convocation ceremony of Iqra University was held in the University campus on Tuesday where 12 students were awarded Gold medals for their shinning performance while degrees were given to 303 students.
The News Tribe correspondent reported that Education Minister of Sindh Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq who was the chief guest of the ceremony awarded degrees to the students.
While addressing the ceremony, Mazhar-ul-Haq said that he was pleased to know that government has given w-4 rating to the Iqra University because of high standards maintained by University administration.
The minister further said that he was glad to know that the University not only started Ph.d program but also became the No. 1 University of Pakistan in Social and Management Sciences.
Gold medals were given to Muneeba Hussain, Saleem Kiran, Usma Fazal, Syed Mohammad Umar Talha, Moin-ud-Din Kashif, Syed Mohammad Ghazzal, Hamid Saeed Khan, Sara Hassan, Jaweria Jawed, Manal Jiya, Humaira Shiekh and Syed Tariq Hussain while Ph.D degrees were awarded to Kamran Raza, Mohammad Yousuf Sharjeel and Munir Shah.
