Karachi: Japanese Company DTS, Ins have desired to invest in the field of modern technology such as Software Development Center, Japanese Language Center, Call Center, Training Center & intends to introduce manufacturing Industry in Pakistan.
Earlier, the aforesaid company had invested $10 Million in IT Park in Karachi. This was said by the President of DTS & CEO (Hiro Takashi) while taking to Chairman Sindh Board of Investment (SBI), Muhammad Zubair Motiwala at his office.
Chairman SBI said on the occasion that existing government was taking all out efforts to facilitate foreign investors. He urged the need to promote local and foreign investment for soft image building of Pakistan across the globe. Moreover, there was immense potential of investment in Sindh.
He identified areas wherein a number of reputed international companies working which are Agriculture, Alternative Energy, Thar Coal and Information technology. He further said that the government was making its level best to provide maximum facilities to foreign investors.
On the occasion, Secretary Investment Muhammad Younus Dagha briefed the participants about ongoing projects. He informed that the foreign investments resulted in more economic prosperity in the Sindh and increased their technical skills.
The meeting was attended by Secretary IT Saleh Farooqi, Director Solid Gear Corporation, Japan Afsushi Yamzaki, Director BOI Nasreen, Director General IT Muhammd Yousuf and Director DTS Ins., Irfan Siddiqui
