Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Zaka Ashraf has said that Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) was afraid of the recent outstanding performance of Pakistan’s cricket team thats why it was hesitant to play against Pakistan.
Ashraf told private Geo News TV that he was hopeful of international cricket will be be back Pakistan very soon.
Zaka Ashraf has said that Bangladesh cricket team would likely to tour Pakistan in March. “Security team of Bangladesh will visit Pakistan in February to review security arrangements for the visit,” he added. He further said that there were possibility of appointment of Asian match officials for the series.
The PCB chairman said regarding the Pak-Indo series that the people of both the nations wanted a series between the two countries but BCCI faced difficulties to get clearance for resuming cricketing ties with Pakistan..
Ashraf said that the PCB would not beg India for the series but wanted the series to entertain people of both the countries.
