Karachi: In a bid to find more ways to collaborate in higher education sector of the country, a two-member European Union delegation visited the University of Karachi on Wednesday.
Pierre Mayaudon, deputy head of the European Union delegation to Pakistan and Alexandre Borges Gomes, first counselor for trade, political affairs and communication were welcomed in the institution by dean of the science faculty Dr Darakhshan J Haleem.
Both diplomats showed their keen interest in seeing the science faculty and research work based on new technologies.
Dr Haleem accompanied them to the Centralized Science Laboratory, National Center for Proteomics, Dr Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research, Hussain Ebrahim Jamal Research Institute of Chemistry and finally to the Area Study Center for Europe.
