Dubai: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Zaka Ashraf has said that Board of Control for Cricket in Indian (BCCI) faced difficulties to get clearance to resume cricketing ties with Pakistan.
After a meeting with BCCI president N Srinivasan in Dubai on Wednesday, the PCB chief said that the BCCI has tried to get permission but the Indian government denied to give clearance.
Both the teams have not met in a series since Pakistan visited India in 2007.
