Islamabad: US Ambassador Cameron Munter has said that his country would try to prevent Salala like attacks on Pakistan in future.
Talking to media in Sukkur during his trip to archeological site of Mohenjodaro on Tuesday, he said that the raid on Pakistani outposts was not intentional.
He said that the incident was terrible. Munter said that the US was seeking better relations with Pakistan.
“We are also trying to improve bilateral relations between both the countries,” he said.
Munter said the US would also extend its cooperation in preserving historical sites and the country’s consulate in Karachi was in touch with Sindh authorities.
“We will do what we can to preserve the sites,” he added.
