Quetta: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that they will contest the senate elections in consultation with coalition partners, adding that general elections would be discussed after the upper house polls.
Talking to media in Quetta on Sunday, Hussain said that PML-Q had roots in all the four provinces and added that they were the first party which raised the Balochistan issue in the country.
He said political temperature in the country had been low, adding that it needed to be increased now. “We have played a positive role to remove tension between judiciary and government,” he claimed.
“Nawab Akbar Bughti had trust in PML-Q,” Hussain added.
