KARACHI: The monetary policy for the next two months will be announced on February 11.
Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Yaseen Anwar will announce the policy.
The central bank kept its key policy rate unchanged at 12 percent on November 30 when it announced monetary policy for December and January of the current fiscal year. Â However, the chance of policy rate cut is slim.
The central banks spokesperson said that the SBP had also decided to reschedule its meetings on monetary policy to the first half of February, April, June, August, October and December.
It had previously said meetings would be held in the last week of January, March, May, July, September and November.
