Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court has issued notices to President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, acting Defence Secretary Nargis Sethi and others in a petition filed by former defence secretary Let Gen ret Naeem Khalid Lodhi against his removal from the post.
The notice has been issued for the second week of February.  Lodhi’s lawyer Muneer Paracha told the court that his client was defamed and illegally sacked from the post.
IHC judge justice Riaz Ahmad Khan issued notices and remarked that no order would be passed without listening to others parties.
