Vehari: Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said rules were violated in memogate case and added that Defence Secretary was sacked due to violation of rules.
Talking to media in Vehari district on Sunday, PM Gilani said all the institutions in the country were working under their domains.
The PM said he never claimed to remain as Prime Minister for five years. “The Parliament will complete its five year term,” he said.
“The prime minister … is answerable to parliament,” Yusuf Raza Gilani told reporters in the central city of Vehari. “I will not answer to a person. I am answerable to parliament.”
He said the Presidency had all ready denied the story released by the foreign news agency Reuters.
