Rio De Janeiro: Former Brazilian midfielder Rivaldo has confirmed that he has joined Angola top flight side Kabuscorp.
Recently released from Sao Paulo, the 39-year-old athlete was not yet ready to hang up his boots and decided to take his game to another country.
The 39-year-old midfielder had been without a club after parting company with Sao Paulo last month and has reportedly agreed to a one-year contract with the top-flight outfit.
“I received offers from several countries, but I chose Angola because of the language and because I liked the project.” he added.
Rivaldo, who scooped the FIFA World Player of the Year award in 1999, has played for AC Milan, Olympiakos and AEK Athens, among other clubs, since leaving Camp Nou in 2002.
