Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Asihq Awan has said that the government could get passed the resolution today but it want opposition to consider it and if they want any change in the resolution the government would also admit them.
Talking to media outside the parliament house on Friday after Asfand Yar Wali Khan moved a resolution in favour of the government, she said that voting would be held on resolution on Monday and expressed the hope that those who believe in democracy would support it.
She said that the resolution was not in support of government instead it was in favour of democracy and the parliament. She said that government wanted to evolve consensus on the resolution.
