Arifa Kareem most important for Pakistan!

Islamabad: As the  World’s youngest MCP Arifa Kareem is battling for her life in Lahore’s hospital, Pakistanis are also looking emotional and worried over her health.

The nation is using different platforms to show solidarity with Arifa and her parents. The leading social media sites are using to encourage the people to pray for Arifa.

“We have received many calls from the people of the Pakistan from all around the word,” her father said. He added that the people were showing their concerns over the heath of Arifa.

Microsoft founder Bill Gates had also asked his doctors in the United States to make arrangements for treatment of Arifa Karim.

Arifa is admitted in CMH hospital Lahore since she suffered cardiac arrest on December 22 last year.

Arif, 16, is a daughter of retired Lt. Colonel of Pakistan army. She became the world’s youngest MCP in 2003 at the age of 9.

She was invited by Bill Gates to visit the Microsoft headquarters in the USA when she was only 10-year-old. In August 2005, Arifa was also awarded the Fatima Jinnah Gold Medal in the field of science and technology by then Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz.

She also received the Salaam Pakistan Youth Award again in 2005 set up by Pakistan’s only Nobel laureate Dr Abdul Salam. She is also the recipient of the Presidential Award for Pride of Performance.
