Jamshoro: The University of Sindh (SU) has suspended Director Campus Security Sajid Qayoom Memon immediately on account of lapses in security at the campus and negligence of duties.
Registrar SU has issued order in this connection here on Monday.
The Registrar further announced for the information of the students that regular classes in all teaching institutes and departments will begin from Tuesday, January, 10. All the students are hereby informed to attend their classes regularly. It is further announced that the point buses for the students will ply from the already fixed routes of Hyderabad.
Earlier today, the Governor Sindh who is Chancellor of the Universities in Sindh has nominated the members of syndicate University of Sindh against various categories for the period of three years.
According to a notification the Governor Sindh has nominated to Justice (Retd) Hamid Ali Mirza as member of Syndicate on category of Person of Eminence (Professions), Mumtaz-ur-Rahman Khan Person of Eminence (Sciences), Prof. Dr. Asadullah Larik Person of Eminence (Arts), Jhamat Jethanand on category of Dean, Prof. Ahmed Ali Shaikh Principal of affiliated college, Prof. Dr. Abdul Sattar Ansari on category of Alim and Dr. Mumtaz Bhutto on category of Woman.
