Islamabad: Babar Awan on Tuesday completed his arguments in the Supreme Court of Pakistan in Z.A Bhutto case.
A nine-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was hearing the case.
Awan, federation’s counsel, referred to governor general and an Indian litigation in 1992 when the bench asked him to present a single instance regarding revisit of any case.
The CJ asked whether there was revisit in the above mentioned cases. Awan told the court that there was no instance regarding revisit of any case and the Bhutto case was a unique in its kind.
He said that a person could not be convicted with being heard. “We agree judges should be impartial,” the CJ remarked.
“Mr Awan you definitely worked hard but tell us what we should write, “Justice Chaudhry said.
