Gujranwala: Pakistan Muslim league-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif has pledged that he will make Pakistan an economic power, as tens of thousands of people, including women and children thronged a stadium in Gujranwala city of Punjab on Saturday.
In his speech, the former prime minister said that he would not keep mum over increasing prices of gas and oil.
“My team will bring revolution in Pakistan, Musharraf and Q-league team is going anywhere else,” he said and added that he will construct small dams and setup thermal power plants to overcome power crises in Pakistan.
“People’s flood will wipe out world eleven,” Sharif said referring to cricketer-turned politician Imran Khan who emerged as  third major political force in the country and a staunch opponent of the former prime minister, who ruled the country twice.
Sharif said that the nation would not tolerate incidents like Abbottabad operation.
He vowed that 300,000 laptop computers would be distributed among the educated youth of Punjab in new budget.
The N-league chief also slammed the PPP-led governmnet for what he said rampant corruption and destruction of national entities like the Pakistan Railways and the Pakistan International Airlines(PIA).
