Kabul/Islamabad: Five International Security Assistance Force service members killed following an improvised explosive device attack in eastern Afghanistan, today.
TheNewsTribe’s correspondent for Afghanistan reported that ISAF soldiers related to Poland were killed in Ghazni province of south eastern area of Afghanistan in road side blast.
Taliban claimed the responsibility of the explosion.
A combined Afghan and coalition security force discovered a weapons cache during a routine patrol in different areas of the country, today.
According to ISAF joint command office “The cache consisted of three rocket propelled grenades, two unknown artillery rounds, undisclosed number of RPGs, 10 cans of RPG propellant, two pressure plate detonation devices, one 107 mm rocket, various small arms ammunition, six improvised explosive devices and one rocket.”
ISAF controlled Afghan and coalition security forces discovered these weapons from Logar, Uruzgan, and Wardak provinces of Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, the Commander, International Security Assistance Force, General John R. Allen, released a holiday message yesterday to ISAF service members and their families.
