Karachi: A latest report has revealed that the ratio of admissions of female students to education centers has increased during the last 10 years.
According to a The News Tribe report, the rate of admission of girls as compare
to boys was really high between the period of 2001 and 2011.
The report further said that the admission rate of girls students in primary schools have been increased by 78 percent since 2001 whereas boys’ admission decreased by 1.5 percent in the same period.
“57% admissions of girls were raised to middle schools while admissions of boys increased by 36%.”, the report added.
Admission of girls in high schools jumped by 74 percent and boys by 65 percent, whereas in secondary high schools girls admission increased by 60% and boys by 157% in the last 10 years.
In the professional colleges, admission ratio of boys was high with 253 percent while that of girls was 49 percent. But the gap was bridged in the universities in which admissions of girls have been increased by 400% while the admissions of boys increased by 235%.
The British Council has said, in its report, that students of six non-European countries were receiving education in Britain but most of the students were belonged to Pakistan and the ratio was 54 percent.
But in the United States, the rate of students have been decreased after an incident of 9/11.
