Washington: Amir Khan has lost hisĀ WBA and IBO light welterweight titles to Lamont Peterson in Washington.
Two points deducted from Khan for pushing proved crucial as the judges scored the fight at 113-112, 113-112, 111-114 in favour of the challenger.
The Briton rocked Peterson in the first round, but the American launched huge attacks in the third and seventh.
Khan recovered, but the docked points proved crucial.
Disappointed over the judges decision Khan said that he was fighting against the two persons match referee and Peterson.
