Germany condemns NATO attack on Pakistan sovereignty

Islamabad: Foreign Minister of Germany Guido Westerwelle telephoned Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar to express support and solidarity with the people and Government of Pakistan. He deplored the NATO/ISAF attack and said it was unacceptable. He supported full investigation of the attack.

 

The German Foreign Minister said that Germany was fully aware of Pakistan’s sacrifices and contributions. He hoped that the military incident will not affect political cooperation.

 

Foreign Minister Khar briefed the German Foreign Minister on the gravity of situation created by the attacks and its repercussions. She also briefed him on the DCC decisions.
