Karachi: The Press Clubs of Karachi and Mumbai on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), and agreed that the journalists of Pakistan and India would continue to play positive roles to promote peace, love and brotherhood among the people of the two countries.
President Karachi Press Club (KPC) Tahir Hassan Khan, General Secretary KPC, Moosa Kaleem and Chairman Mumbai Press Club (MPC), Parakash Akolkar and Ms. Aneeta Mukarjee inked the agreement on behalf of their clubs.
The MoU was signed during a visit by a 22- member delegation of Indian journalists comprising members of MPC to the KPC here.
Earlier, the Indian delegation attended a reception hosted in their honour by the office bearers of the Karachi Press Club.
The journalists from India and Pakistan also shared their professional experiences with each other.
