Islamabad: A delegation of Kazakhstan Embassy in Pakistan visited the FPCCI head office in Islamabad and held a meeting with its President, Senator Haji Ghulam Ali.
The Counselor Marat Aikeyev and Secretary, Talgat Ashetov of Kazakhstan on behalf of Kazakhstanâs Government invited Senator Haji Ghulam Ali, to visit Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest including strengthening of cordial relations, increase in bilateral trade, promotion of investment and exchange of delegations between both the countries were discussed at length.
Chairman of FPCCI Standing Committees on Mines and Mineral and ROZs, Shahid-ur-Rehman and Wajid Ali Afridi respectively and Sikandar Hayat were also present on the occasion.
Senator Haji Ghulam Ali informed that a high powered delegation of business community of Pakistan would soon visit Kazakhstan, however prior to it Federation of Kazakistan Chambers and business Community Kazakhistan should visit Pakistan to get acquaintance with Pakistan âs trade and industry.
The FPCCI President stated that Pakistan offers bright prospects of joint ventures and investment in the areas of Textiles, Marble, Mining Energy, Agro-based industries etc.
The Kazakhstan Counselor, Mr. Marat Aikeyev presented a gift to the FPCCI President and the FPCCI presented the FPCCI Shield to him.
