Karachi: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon visited former Sindh home minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza’s house on late night, saying Dr Mirza was not being house arrest.
He categorically denied the news regarding Dr Mirza’s house arrest, terming all such news fake and baseless. He said Dr Mirza was his good friend and he come here to meet with his friend.
The provincial minister said that security around Dr Mirza’s house was beefed up due to security concern.
He said some elements were trying to create rifts among Pakistan People’s Party but they will be failed.
Memon also denied the news of grouping in PPP. He said there are some differences in the party that will be removed soon.
He said that Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s allegation against President Asif Ali Zardari were fake and baseless. He termed the accusation against President Zardari deplorable.
He said that he does not believe on rumors.
