Amritsar: Management of Kabaddi World Cup has not took any action against the “players” responsible for the attack on Pakistan’s manager Akhter Abbas.
As per detail, Manager Akhter Abbas had requested the management to take dope test of the US players. Alleging unfair competition, the Pakistani team was upset over their narrow loss to the dope tainted US team, five of whose players had tested positive.
After the complain, US team member were displeasured with the manager and started beating the Akhter Abbas during Pakistan and Norway match when he was going to washroom on November 12.
Akhter Abbas had confirmed the incident and said that the US players abused and thrashed him. The manager said that he informed management about the incident and demanded the action against US players.
The fingers continues to be pointed out by the Pakistan and still distrust at the management and it is alleged that the administration sheltering the culprits.
