Karachi: Secretary of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, Asif Bajwa has said that the recent on-field scuffle between the players and officials of Pakistan and India would not effect the bilateral ties.
Talking to media here on Saturday, Asif Bajwa said the relationship between the hockey authorities of Pakistan and India has been pleasant and I am confident that the incident would not affect the bilateral ties.
He further said that the management of the event took the just decision after thoroughly review the video footage of the incident, we are satisfied and have no intentions to take this issue up with the FIH.
On the performance of the national team in Australia, Asif Bajwa said that the final victory against Australia is a moral booster for the team and it would surely help in the future events.
It is pertinent to mention that during the tri-nation series in Australia players of Pakistan and Indian spoiled in a physical fight.
