Miranshah: A United States unmanned spy plane fired two missiles in Pakistan’s tribal region of North Waziristan on late Monday, killing at least four people.
According to the sources, the CIA operated US drone fired two missiles at a vehicle in Mir Ali town of Miranshah, North Waziristan, bordering Afghanistan. As a result, four people were killed in the attack.
The identities of the deceased were yet to be ascertained weather they were suspected member of Haqqani group or locals.
Relations between Pakistan and the United States have been at its lowest ebb since a series of allegations by top US civilian and military officials against Pakistan especially it security establishment including Inter Services Intelligence (ISI).
Pakistan has long been opposing the drone strikes, declaring them counterproductive.
