Karachi: The entry tests for admission in MBBS and BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) will be held in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Nawabshah and Larkana on October 30.
The test would be conducted by National Testing Service (NTS) and it would declare the results within 72 hours of the test.
There are 700 seats of MBBS and BDS in Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS), 350 in Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS), 250 in Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Larkana, 200 in People’s University of Medical and Health Sciences and 100 in Lyari Medical College.
Sindh Health Minister Dr Sagheer Ahmed has asked the vice chancellors of all the four medical universities of Sindh to ensure transparent, proper and adequate arrangements for conducting entry tests for admission to medical colleges.
In a meeting, the minister asked all the VCs of medical universities to make proper seating arrangements for the parents accompanying their children at the entry test centers.
Dr Sagheer Ahmed directed the authorities concerned to deliver admit cards to the candidates well in time. He also reviewed the security arrangements for the safety of candidates.
Test will be held at Ojha Campus of DUHS in Karachi, Jamshoro Campus of LUMS, Public School Sukkur, Police Training Ground Larkana and People’s University of Medical and Health Sciences, Shaheed Benazirabad (Nawabshah).
