Karachi: SHAMROCK Conferences International has announced the holding of the 5th Annual Pakistan Micro-finance Country Forum 2011 to be held on November 24 in Karachi.
The theme of the forum will be “Stretching out to the unreached” and will include case-study discussions and face-to-face deliberations.
The annual forum has repeatedly attracted prominent experts, regulators, government officials, NGOs, academia, media and delegates from prestigious Pakistani & foreign Microfinance institutions.
The day-long conference will include interactive sessions over a round-table format where eminent speakers and practitioners will present case-studies, insights and recommendations on the latest developments in this sector.
Commenting on the annual series, Mr. Menin Rodrigues, convener of the 5th Pakistan Microfinance Conference 2011 said; “The microfinance sector is at a critical juncture in its efforts towards reducing poverty, building capacity at grassroots level, augmenting cottage industry and creating jobs for the masses, with the aim to facilitate economic stability in Pakistan.
