Karachi: At least three people have been gunned down in different parts of the metropolis in what appeared to be new wave of targeted killings that came to a halt after the Supreme Court of Pakistan took suo motu notice of the deteriorating law and order situation back in August this year.
According to police, two bodies were found in Surjani town area. They said that the deceased seemed to be father and son and they were shot in their heads. The bodies were shifted to a hospital for post-mortem.
Another body was found near FTC bridge and shifted to a morgue after autopsy.
As incidents of target killing have been increasing in the city despite Rangers’ crackdown on miscreants local courts prove generous for the alleged targeted killers, releasing them on bails.
A local court on Tuesday accepted bail pleas of five alleged target killers.
