New York: Apple on Monday improved its MacBook Pro lineup with slightly faster Intel processors, as well as new graphics processors and larger hard drives in some models.
The 13in laptop has had the lowest upgrade of 100MHz to 2.4MHz for the Core i5 model and the to 2.8GHz for the Core i7 model. As before, the remaining models all have Core i7 chips but are 200MHz faster with 2.2GHz and 2.4GHz options for the 15in model and 2.4GHz for the 17in model.
The entire range comes equipped with 4GB of 1333MHz RAM and either a 500GB or 750GB hard drive. The Macbook Pro machines have Intel HD 3000 graphics but the 15in and 17in models also come with an AMD Radeon graphics card with either 512MB or 1GB of RAM.
On the whole this is a minor update considering the MacBook Pro have not received a newer generation processor or a redesign.
