Islamabad: Naval Chief Admiral Asif Sandila called on Federal Defence Minister Ahmad Muhktar here on Wednesday.
According to reports, the naval chief discussed with the defence minister professional matters during the meeting.
Mukhtar told naval chief that the government wanted to see Pakistan’s military as a modern and well equipped force.
Sandila took over the charge of naval chief this month after the retirement of Admiral Noman Basheer.
