Karachi: Pakistan State Oil’s (PSO) receiveables from Pakistan Railways under the head of fuel supply haveĀ surpassed Rs 1.13 billion.
A PSO spokesperson said 300,000 litre diesel was supplied to Railways on placement of order, which was enough for 4 to 5 days operation.
The spokesperson said PR has to pay Rs 1.13 billion under the head of fuel supply. Pakistan Railways is not making timely payment to PSO although the company is facing a financial crisis, he added.
The spokesman said no headway has been made to clear the dues despite execution of a new agreement on diesel supply between Pakistan Railways and PSO.
